Idea for reflection 16

Are the younger members aware that, whilst deeply respecting the beliefs of all the poor people that they help, they must strive to convey the Good Tidings that help them in life? Do the Conferences do this? How could this be improved?

The members are aware of the responsibility to do this, some members does while others do not convey the good tidings to the poor. This can be improve by team spirits and devotion.

Truly our members give priority to this. We have to work in an environment where most of the people we deal with have different beliefs. We never discriminate anybody depending on their belief. We share some common stories which carry the Good News with out directly using the Holy Scriptures. To improve this we should educate our members how to behave in these kinds of situations and how to convey the Good News to help them in their lives.

Yes. This could be achieved by conducting interactive sessions (theme based/issue based) with the poor in their regional languages. The conferences do try to convey good tidings or advice to poor people. This advice sometimes might seem to be forced upon and this should be avoided.

Yes, most of our young people respect the various beliefs of the poor. Some of us evangelize byusing our own experiences and testimonies to bring the word of God to the poor. Sometimes we invite the prayer group to go out to the poor with us for a praise and worshiip session.
