it is challenging
Yes, we know that we are the future of the Conference. We need to gain experience to follow the work of the Conference.
I think it's depends on individual. some feels the responsibility but others don't. It would be core problem we have to deal with.
I think the manifestation of this responsibility is practically seen by their active participation and dedication to the work of some youths.
yes, we are aware that we are future of the Society, however SVDP need give us positions within the conferences as part of succession planning.
Of course we are aware of that and working towards it learning by experiences and sharing the lives of our seniors.
Geerally, th eyounger members have quite a god sens eof their responsibility. However, there is somewhat a lack of identity within young members in trinidad, generally becaus eof the generation gap ith senior members. Training and retraining about th erules of the Society can be a step in addressing this.
Also, more work needs to be done in Trinidad in terms of succession planning because while the young people exist, because of the lack of opportunities to mange and be in charge of certain activities, there is the comfort in knowing that the Seniors are there to ensur ethat it happens. More focus must be placed in making young members leaders for some of the activities within the Society so that ownership is developed froman early stage
